Established Hau Giang Import-Export Processing Partnership Company.

1983

Transformed the company into a state-owned enterprise named Import-Export Manufacturing and Processing Company.

1986

Renamed the company Hau Giang Agro-Food Export Company.

1988

Established foreign joint-venture enterprises including Meko Leather Enterprise, Meko Animal Feed Processing Enterprise, Meko Garment Enterprise, Meko Feather Enterprise, Meko Poultry Enterprise, Meko Craft Enterprise, Vinasa Tobacco Joint-Venture Enterprise.

1992

Renamed the company Can Tho Agricultural Products and Foodstuff Company

1997

Merged Meko Garment Enterprise and Tay Do Leather Enterprise into Can Tho Agricultural Products and Foodstuff Company

1998

Became a member of the Mekong Petroleum Joint Venture (Mekong Gas).
Contributed capital to form Tay Do Leather Footwear Joint Venture Company.

2004

Renamed the company Can Tho city Agricultural Products and Foodstuff Company
From its establishment to 2004, the company has developed 04 export operation departments; 02 specialized committees; 15 affiliated stations and stores.
Continued to merge Meko Garment Enterprise and Meko Animal Feed Processing Enterprise.

2010

Equitized the company and officially renamed it Can Tho Agricultural Products and Foodstuff Joint Stock Company according to Decision No. 3355/QD-UBND dated December 28, 2008 by the City People’s Committee of Can Tho City.
Charter capital at the Company: 110,000,000,000 VND.

2013

The People’s Committee of Can Tho City transferred the state capital at the company to the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC).
